“Andy and his team guided and supported me recently when I completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge. Having completed it once before a few years earlier, I was very aware of how difficult it was in parts and, if I’m honest, really wasn’t looking forward to those sections! Yet every time I felt that I may be struggling, Andy was there. Not forcing me to pick up the pace or with any roars of ‘c’mon!!’, but instead simply walking by my side at my pace, providing conversation and gentle encouragement. And that made all the difference. The trip was well organised, fun and the communication pre, post and during the challenge consistent and helpful. I probably will not complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks again but if I did, it would be Andy and his team I’d call on. Superb guides and genuinely lovely fellas too” Jackie Handy, June 2022
The Yorkshire Three Peaks is a demanding challenge walk in the Yorkshire Dales national Park and it takes in the summits of Pen-y-ghent (691 metres), Whernside (728 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres).

Click on the video below which was taken in 2022 which will show a little of what you can experience:-
It covers almost twenty five miles, and many participants aim to complete the challenge in under twelve hours. To facilitate that One Spark provide a support vehicle for larger groups which provides cold beverages, hot water and the facility to leave kit if required.

This is an ideal challenge which you may wish to take on as a corporate team-building event or for a charity of your choice. If you are feeling tired, there is no greater encouragement than to focus on the people or other cause you are raising the funds for.

The ideal group size is 12 but if you are a larger group, perhaps aiming to take on the challenge for charity, let us know and we can adjust to this. If you would prefer to do it on your own or in a small group with a private guide, get in touch for prices. If the dates shown do not suit you, we may be able to organise the event on a day to fit your requirements.

How can you prepare?
- We will send you a kit list before the event. We can provide advice regarding the type of kit if required. Bear in mind that new boots will need to be ‘walked in’. 25 miles is a long way!
- Be organised and if you need to improve your fitness undertake a training or fitness programme. Have a positive mindset – you CAN do this! People who enter with a positive attitude and who have done some training usually succeed.
- As the date approaches, ease off training the week before and ensure you have the recommended items on the kit list.
- Consider raising sponsorship for a group or individual charity. During the walk give it your best. If you are struggling just spare a thought for those worse off than you, perhaps those you are raising money for, and that should give you the motivation to complete the challenge successfully.
