“Andy and his team guided and supported me recently when I completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge. Having completed it once before a few years earlier, I was very aware of how difficult it was in parts and, if I’m honest, really wasn’t looking forward to those sections! Yet every time I felt that I may be struggling, Andy was there. Not forcing me to pick up the pace or with any roars of ‘c’mon!!’, but instead simply walking by my side at my pace, providing conversation and gentle encouragement. And that made all the difference. The trip was well organised, fun and the communication pre, post and during the challenge consistent and helpful. “I arranged with Andy on One Spark a one to one session on Dartmoor, a location I have little experience of. From my initial contact I was impressed with the professionalism of Andy from his initial plan, sending me grid reference of where to meet and a plan of our hike. I arrived at the rendezvous early to find Andy already prepared for the day. He had full knowledge of the weather forecast and briefed me on were we where heading. We walked up to Yes Tor and then moved west where we descended to an ancient woodland. Andy’s knowledge of the flora and fauna was impressive and the oak trees were positively identified.
