Payment – On receipt of your deposit (or the full payment) your place on the course/activity will be confirmed. Full payment is due 6 weeks prior to the course/activity starting. Everyone MUST complete a participant consent form before starting the course/activity. This includes a medical questionnaire. If anything changes with your medical situation between filling out the form and starting the course/activity, please let us know. 2. Cancelations – If you need to cancel your place on a course/activity for whatever reason,(a) you may opt to transfer to another course or activity/date or(b) we will endeavour to re-sell your place and you will receive a full refund less a 10% administration fee, on or as soon as possible after the start date of the course/activity.If we are unable to re-sell your place the following costs will apply:a) 75% of the total cost if you cancel up to 6 weeks before the course/activity start date.b) 100% of the total course/activity cost if you cancel within 6 weeks of the course/activity start date. 3. Insurance – Andy Lindsley at One Spark Outdoor Adventures is a Qualified Mountain Leader (MTA 291063), qualified in outdoor first aid, and holds public liability and professional indemnity insurance (Sportscover Policy no. PLON99/0116816). Other staff sub-contracted by the company will be similarly qualified and insured. 4. Extreme Weather – Courses/activities will go ahead in all weathers unless deemed dangerous by One Spark Outdoor Adventures. 5. Responsibility – Persons undertaking activities in mountainous areas or using tools, when relevant, will be expected to consider the safety of others as well as their own. Dangerous behaviour will result in a caution, or, if necessary, dismissal from the course. 6. Repairs – Individuals are liable for the cost of repairs made necessary by wilful damage to equipment or to Landowner’s property. 7. Risk – One Spark Outdoor Adventure would like to remind you that participating in outdoor and adventurous activities involves an element of risk. You will be supervised by a highly qualified instructor and risk is continuously assessed but such activities can be hazardous, and accidents can occur. During some courses/activities you will be in a mountainous or woodland environment where there are inherent risks. On occasions you may be cooking on open fires. It is therefore quite possible to burn, stain or otherwise damage your equipment and or clothes. One Spark Outdoor Adventures can take no responsibility for the condition of your, or anyone else’s, personal belongings you may bring with you. If the activity you are taking part in is out of the UK, it is your responsibility to ensure via your GP that you have had all vaccinations recommended for travel to the country in which the activity is being held, and are up to date with them. 8. Personal Insurance All outdoor activities can be dangerous and carry an element of risk. It is therefore recommended that you take out your own personal accident insurance that will cover you for personal injury and personal possessions for the duration of the booked activity. In respect of activities in remote areas outside the UK you should consider having helicopter evacuation included. This can be expensive if required and not insured for.
